1 Now Jehoshaphat3092 had riches6239 and honor3519 in abundance,7230 and joined2859 affinity2859 with Ahab.256

2 And after7093 certain years8141 he went3381 down3381 to Ahab256 to Samaria.8111 And Ahab256 killed2026 sheep6629 and oxen1241 for him in abundance,7230 and for the people5971 that he had with him, and persuaded5496 him to go5927 up with him to Ramothgilead.7433

2 Und nach7093 zweien Jahren zog5927 er hinab3381 zu Ahab256 gen Samaria8111. Und Ahab256 ließ für ihn und für das Volk5971, das bei ihm war5496, viel7230 Schafe6629 und Ochsen1241 schlachten2076. Und er beredete ihn, daß er hinauf gen Ramoth in8141 Gilead1568 zöge.

3 And Ahab256 king4428 of Israel3478 said559 to Jehoshaphat3092 king4428 of Judah,3063 Will you go3212 with me to Ramothgilead?7433 And he answered559 him, I am as you are, and my people5971 as your people;5971 and we will be with you in the war.4421

3 Und3092 Ahab256, der König4428 Israels3478, sprach559 zu Josaphat, dem Könige4428 Judas: Zeuch mit mir gen Ramoth in Gilead1568! Er sprach559 zu ihm: Ich bin wie3212 du, und mein Volk5971 wie dein Volk5971, wir wollen mit dir in den Streit4421.

4 And Jehoshaphat3092 said559 to the king4428 of Israel,3478 Inquire,1875 I pray4994 you, at the word1697 of the LORD3068 to day.3117

4 Aber Josaphat3092 sprach559 zum Könige4428 Israels3478: Lieber, frage1875 heute3117 des HErrn3068 Wort1697!

5 Therefore the king4428 of Israel3478 gathered6908 together of prophets5030 four702 hundred3967 men,376 and said559 to them, Shall we go3212 to Ramothgilead7433 to battle,4421 or shall I forbear?2308 And they said,559 Go5927 up; for God430 will deliver5414 it into the king's4428 hand.3027

5 Und3967 der König4428 Israels3478 sammelte6908 der Propheten5030 vierhundert702 Mann376 und sprach559 zu ihnen: Sollen wir gen Ramoth in Gilead1568 ziehen3212 in Streit4421, oder soll ich‘s lassen anstehen2308? Sie sprachen559: Zeuch hinauf5927, GOtt430 wird sie in des Königs4428 Hand3027 geben5414.

6 But Jehoshaphat3092 said,559 Is there not here6311 a prophet5030 of the LORD3068 besides,5750 that we might inquire1875 of him?

6 Josaphat3092 aber sprach559: Ist nicht irgend noch ein Prophet5030 des HErrn3068 hie, daß wir von ihm fragten1875?
|

7 And the king4428 of Israel3478 said559 to Jehoshaphat,3092 There is yet5750 one259 man,376 by whom we may inquire1875 of the LORD:3068 but I hate8130 him; for he never369 prophesied5012 good2896 to me, but always3605 3117 evil:7451 the same1931 is Micaiah4321 the son1121 of Imla.3229 And Jehoshaphat3092 said,559 Let not the king4428 say559 so.3651

7 Der König4428 Israels3478 sprach559 zu Josaphat3092: Es ist noch3117 ein259 Mann376, daß man559 den HErrn3068 von ihm frage1875; aber ich bin8130 ihm gram, denn er weissaget über mich kein Gutes2896, sondern allewege Böses7451, nämlich Micha4321, der Sohn1121 Jemlas3229. Josaphat3092 sprach559: Der König4428 rede nicht also!

8 And the king4428 of Israel3478 called7121 for one259 of his officers,5631 and said,559 Fetch quickly4116 Micaiah4319 the son1121 of Imla.3229

8 Und der König4428 Israels3478 rief7121 seiner Kämmerer5631 einen259 und sprach559: Bringe eilend4116 her Micha4319, den Sohn1121 Jemlas3229!

9 And the king4428 of Israel3478 and Jehoshaphat3092 king4428 of Judah3063 sat3427 either376 of them on5921 his throne,3678 clothed3847 in their robes,899 and they sat3427 in a void1637 place at the entering6607 in of the gate8179 of Samaria;8111 and all3605 the prophets5030 prophesied5012 before6440 them.

9 Und3092 der König4428 Israels3478 und Josaphat, der König4428 Judas, saßen3427 ein376 jeglicher auf6440 seinem Stuhl3678, mit Kleidern899 angezogen3847; sie3427 saßen aber auf dem Platz1637 vor der Tür6607, am Tor8179 zu Samaria8111; und alle Propheten5030 weissagten5012 vor ihnen.

10 And Zedekiah6667 the son1121 of Chenaanah3668 had made6213 him horns7161 of iron,1270 and said,559 Thus3541 said559 the LORD,3068 With these428 you shall push5055 Syria758 until5704 they be consumed.3615

10 Und Zidekia, der Sohn1121 Knaenas3668, machte6213 ihm eiserne1270 Hörner7161 und sprach559: So spricht der HErr3068: Hiemit wirst du die Syrer758 stoßen5055, bis du sie559 aufreibest.

11 And all3605 the prophets5030 prophesied5012 so,3651 saying,559 Go5927 up to Ramothgilead,7433 and prosper:6743 for the LORD3068 shall deliver5414 it into the hand3027 of the king.4428

11 Und alle Propheten5030 weissagten5012 auch also und sprachen559: Zeuch hinauf5927, es wird dir gelingen6743; der HErr3068 wird sie geben5414 in des Königs4428 Hand3027.

12 And the messenger4397 that went1980 to call7121 Micaiah4321 spoke1696 to him, saying,559 Behold,2009 the words1697 of the prophets5030 declare good2896 to the king4428 with one259 assent;6310 let your word1697 therefore, I pray4994 you, be like one259 of their's,1992 and speak1696 you good.2896

12 Und der259 Bote4397, der hingegangen war2896, Micha4321 zu rufen, redete559 mit ihm und sprach7121: Siehe, der Propheten5030 Reden1696 sind1980 einträchtig gut2896 für den König4428; Lieber, laß dein Wort1697 auch sein wie6310 der einen259, und rede1697 Gutes.

13 And Micaiah4321 said,559 As the LORD3068 lives,2416 even3588 what853 834 my God430 said,559 that will I speak.1696

13 Micha4321 aber sprach559: So wahr der HErr3068 lebet, was mein GOtt430 sagen559 wird, das will ich reden1696.

|
14 And when he was come935 to the king,4428 the king4428 said559 to him, Micaiah,4318 shall we go3212 to Ramothgilead7433 to battle,4421 or shall I forbear?2308 And he said,559 Go5927 you up, and prosper,6743 and they shall be delivered5414 into your hand.3027
|
14 Und da er zum Könige4428 kam935, sprach559 der König4428 zu ihm: Micha4318, sollen wir gen Ramoth in Gilead1568 in Streit4421 ziehen3212, oder soll ich‘s lassen anstehen2308? Er sprach559: Ja, ziehet hinauf5927, es wird euch gelingen6743; es wird euch in eure Hände3027 gegeben5414 werden.

15 And the king4428 said559 to him, How5704 many times6471 shall I adjure7650 you that you say559 nothing3808 but the truth571 to me in the name8034 of the LORD?3068

15 Aber der König4428 sprach559 zu ihm: Ich beschwöre7650 dich noch einmal6471, daß du1696 mir nichts sagest denn die Wahrheit571 im Namen8034 des HErrn3068!

16 Then he said,559 I did see7200 all3605 Israel3478 scattered6327 on the mountains,2022 as sheep6629 that have no369 shepherd:7462 and the LORD3068 said,559 These428 have no3808 master;113 let them return7725 therefore every man376 to his house1004 in peace.7965
|
16 Da sprach559 er6327: Ich sah7200 das ganze Israel3478 zerstreuet auf den Bergen2022 wie Schafe6629, die keinen Hirten7462 haben. Und der HErr3068 sprach559: Haben diese keinen HErrn113? Es kehre ein376 jeglicher wieder7725 heim1004 mit Frieden7965!

17 And the king4428 of Israel3478 said559 to Jehoshaphat,3092 Did I not tell559 you that he would not prophesy5012 good2896 to me, but evil?7451

17 Da sprach559 der König4428 Israels3478 zu Josaphat3092: Sagte559 ich dir nicht, er weissaget über mich kein Gutes2896, sondern Böses7451?

18 Again he said,559 Therefore3651 hear8085 the word1697 of the LORD;3068 I saw7200 the LORD3068 sitting3427 on his throne,3678 and all3605 the host6635 of heaven8064 standing5975 on his right3225 hand3225 and on his left.8040

18 Er aber sprach559: Darum höret des HErrn3068 Wort1697: Ich sah7200 den HErrn3068 sitzen3427 auf5975 seinem Stuhl3678, und alles himmlische8064 Heer6635 stund zu8085 seiner Rechten3225 und zu seiner Linken8040.

19 And the LORD3068 said,559 Who4310 shall entice6601 Ahab king4428 of Israel,3478 that he may go5927 up and fall5307 at Ramothgilead?7433 And one spoke559 saying559 after3602 this3602 manner,3541 and another2088 saying559 after3602 that manner.

19 Und559 der HErr3068 sprach559: Wer will5307 Ahab256, den König4428 Israels3478, überreden6601, daß er hinaufziehe5927 und559 falle zu Ramoth in Gilead1568? Und da dieser so3602 und jener sonst sagte559,

20 Then there came3318 out a spirit,7307 and stood5975 before6440 the LORD,3068 and said,559 I will entice6601 him. And the LORD3068 said559 to him, With which?4100
|
20 kam ein Geist7307 hervor3318 und trat5975 vor6440 den HErrn3068 und sprach559: Ich will ihn überreden6601. Der HErr3068 aber sprach559 zu ihm: Womit?

|
21 And he said,559 I will go3318 out, and be a lying8267 spirit7307 in the mouth6310 of all3605 his prophets.5030 And the Lord said,559 You shall entice6601 him, and you shall also1571 prevail:3201 go3318 out, and do6213 even so.3651
|
21 Er sprach559: Ich3201 will ausfahren3318 und3318 ein falscher7307 Geist8267 sein in aller seiner Propheten5030 Munde6310. Und er sprach559: Du wirst ihn überreden6601 und wirst‘s ausrichten; fahre hin und tue6213 also!

22 Now6258 therefore, behold,2009 the LORD3068 has put5414 a lying8267 spirit7307 in the mouth6310 of these428 your prophets,5030 and the LORD3068 has spoken1696 evil7451 against5921 you.
|
22 Nun siehe, der HErr3068 hat1696 einen falschen8267 Geist7307 gegeben5414 in dieser deiner Propheten5030 Mund6310, und der HErr3068 hat Böses7451 wider dich geredet.
|
|
23 Then Zedekiah6667 the son1121 of Chenaanah3668 came5066 near,5066 and smote5221 Micaiah4321 on the cheek,3895 and said,559 Which335 2088 way1870 went5674 the Spirit7307 of the LORD3068 from me to speak1696 to you?
|
23 Da trat5066 herzu Zidekia, der Sohn1121 Knaenas3668, und schlug5221 Micha4321 auf den Backen3895 und sprach559: Durch welchen335 Weg1870 ist5674 der Geist7307 des HErrn3068 von mir gegangen, daß er durch dich redet1696?
|

24 And Micaiah4321 said,559 Behold,2009 you shall see7200 on that day3117 when834 you shall go935 into an inner2315 chamber2315 to hide2244 yourself.
|
24 Micha4321 sprach559: Siehe, du935 wirst‘s sehen7200, wenn3117 du in die innerste2315 Kammer2315 kommest, daß du dich2244 versteckest.
|
|
25 Then the king4428 of Israel3478 said,559 Take3947 you Micaiah,4321 and carry7725 him back7725 to Amon526 the governor8269 of the city,5892 and to Joash3101 the king's4428 son;1121
|
25 Aber der König4428 Israels3478 sprach559: Nehmet Micha4321 und5892 lasset ihn bleiben7725 bei Amon526, dem Stadtvogt8269, und bei Joas3101, dem Sohn1121 des Königs4428,

|
26 And say,559 Thus3541 said559 the king,4428 Put7760 this2088 fellow in the prison,1004 3608 and feed398 him with bread3899 of affliction3905 and with water4325 of affliction,3905 until5704 I return7725 in peace.7965
|
26 und7760 saget: So spricht559 der König4428: Leget diesen ins Gefängnis und speiset ihn398 mit Brot3899 und Wasser4325 der Trübsal3906, bis ich559 wiederkomme7725 mit Frieden7965.

|
27 And Micaiah4321 said,559 If518 you certainly return7725 in peace,7965 then has not the LORD3068 spoken1696 by me. And he said,559 Listen,8085 all3605 you people.5971
|
27 Micha4321 sprach559: Kommst du7725 mit Frieden7965 wieder7725, so hat1696 der HErr3068 nicht durch mich geredet. Und er sprach559: Höret8085, ihr Völker5971 alle!
|
|
28 So the king4428 of Israel3478 and Jehoshaphat3092 the king4428 of Judah3063 went5927 up to Ramothgilead.7433
|
28 Also zog5927 hinauf der König4428 Israels3478 und3092 Josaphat, der König4428 Judas, gen Ramoth in Gilead1568.
|
|
29 And the king4428 of Israel3478 said559 to Jehoshaphat,3092 I will disguise2664 myself, and I will go935 to the battle;4421 but put3847 you on your robes.899 So the king4428 of Israel3478 disguised2664 himself; and they went935 to the battle.4421
|
29 Und3092 der König4428 Israels3478 sprach559 zu Josaphat: Ich will935 mich verkleiden2664 und in Streit4421 kommen; du aber habe deine Kleider899 an. Und der König4428 Israels3478 verkleidete sich, und sie3847 kamen935 in den Streit4421.
|
|
30 Now the king4428 of Syria758 had commanded6680 the captains8269 of the chariots7393 that were with him, saying,559 Fight3898 you not with small6996 or854 great,1419 save3588 518 only905 with the king4428 of Israel.3478
|
30 Aber der König4428 zu Syrien758 hatte6680 seinen obersten8269 Reitern7393 geboten: Ihr sollt nicht559 streiten3898 weder gegen klein6996 noch gegen groß1419, sondern gegen den König4428 Israels3478 alleine.
|
|
31 And it came1961 to pass, when the captains8269 of the chariots7393 saw7200 Jehoshaphat,3092 that they said,559 It is the king4428 of Israel.3478 Therefore they compassed5437 about him to fight:3898 but Jehoshaphat3092 cried2199 out, and the LORD3068 helped5826 him; and God430 moved5496 them to depart from him.

31 Da nun die obersten8269 Reiter7393 Josaphat sahen7200, dachten sie559, es ist5496 der König4428 Israels3478, und3092 zogen umher5437, auf ihn zu streiten3898. Aber Josaphat schrie2199; und3092 der HErr3068 half5826 ihm, und GOtt430 wandte sie von ihm.

32 For it came1961 to pass, that, when the captains8269 of the chariots7393 perceived7200 that it was not the king4428 of Israel,3478 they turned7725 back7725 again7725 from pursuing310 him.

32 Denn da310 die obersten8269 Reiter7393 sahen7200, daß er nicht der König4428 Israels3478 war, wandten sie sich7725 von ihm ab.
|
|
33 And a certain man376 drew4900 a bow7198 at a venture,8537 and smote5221 the king4428 of Israel3478 between996 the joints1694 of the harness:8302 therefore he said559 to his chariot7395 man, Turn2015 your hand,3027 that you may carry3318 me out of the host;6635 for I am wounded.2470

33 Es spannete aber ein Mann376 seinen Bogen7198 ohngefähr und schoß den König4428 Israels3478 zwischen den Panzer1694 und Hengel. Da sprach559 er5221 zu seinem Fuhrmann7395: Wende2015 deine Hand3027 und führe3318 mich aus4900 dem Heer4264; denn ich bin wund2470.

34 And the battle4421 increased5927 that day:3117 however, the king4428 of Israel3478 stayed5975 himself up in his chariot4818 against5227 the Syrians758 until5704 the even:6153 and about the time6256 of the sun8121 going935 down he died.4191

34 Und5975 der Streit4421 nahm935 zu des Tages3117. Und der König4428 Israels3478 stund auf5927 seinem Wagen4818 gegen5227 die Syrer758 bis an den Abend6153 und starb4191, da6256 die Sonne8121 unterging.
